Google testing new “Google News”

It bugged that over the past few days, I was seeing different Google News at work and a different looking one at home. An entry on the Google News blog explained why:

… They’ll only be visible to a small number of random Google News readers. (In case you’re wondering, experiments are selected randomly, so we can’t give you any advice for how to get in!)…

Although, what is selected randomly? Username? IP address?

Visiting India this weekend

I’ll be spending the next three weeks in India!

Looking forward to spending Diwali at home after a long-long while. I will be in Kolhapur most of the time. I’ll spend some time in Pune too. The details are not known to me too!

I’ll be back on the Thanksgiving weekend – in time for the ski season! Looking forward to that too. I hope mother nature is generous with the snow on the Hood.
