Just finished updating this blog to WordPress 2.3. I moved from using categories to using tags - since I was using categories more like tags.
I love the iTheme theme. I haven’t heard if it has been updated to be used with WordPress 2.3. My version of iTheme that worked with 2.2.* worked as-is with 2.3. I did make some small changes to use tags instead of categories.
Things seem to be working at this moment. If you find something missing/wrong, drop a comment.
Looks like all the issues resulting from a recent system upgrade at my web host are taken care of. Drop me a line if something looks abnormal.
My web host recently upgraded their systems to update control panel and operating system on the server my site is hosted. Well, it did not go quite as smoothly as I would have liked.
As you probably can see, some parts of the site are not functioning properly - specifically CGI and SSI.
I am working with the host to get this ironed out as soon as possible. I’ll post an update when it is done.

Over the last week I changed the mahesha.com homepage to what used to be blog.mahesha.com. The old home page was increasingly looking like a blog with every update and it was getting hard to maintain it in its format. The natural choice was to move to an actual blog!
The link to photo albums on this site has also changed. Photo albums now use a simpler look that matches with this blog.
If you haven’t noticed already, there’s this Random pick section in the sidebar - on the right portion of the main page. It randomly picks a photo from all the albums online and displays it. If you click on it, it will take you to the album it belongs to. If you stick around for more than 30 seconds, it will refresh the picture with another random pick! This feature is not very well tested with Internet Explorer - if you spot any display errors, let me know.
Another good thing about moving to a blog is that if you have comments on anything - preferably anything on this site, now you can post them. Click on the heading of a post you want to comment on. Then go to the bottom of the page and use the comment area to post a comment. The comments are moderated - so they won’t show up on the site unless I approve.
Hopefully this transition will help me post updates more frequently than lately!

If you reached here, you probably have noticed this change! But you might need to update bookmarks, if you have any.
The old location will still have posts, but will not be updated. I may totally clean the old location in very near future.
